StNotepad is designed to provide the power and functionality to satisfy the most demanding text editing requirements with rich and powerful UI. It has most of all the features of Windows Notepad and some new features. Below are the examples of new features.
Enhanced User Interface Settings
Settings page has some built-in themes, users can adjust the parameters to get their desired look.
Multiple Undo and redo
StNotepad supports Undo and Redo for multiple times.
Word Count
StNotepad shows character, word, line counts on the fly. By default Status Bar is not visible, to get it check the option "Status Bar" option in "View" Menu item.
File Content Modified Notification
If the contents of the opened file in StNotepad has modified outside, user will get a Message Box to update it or not.
Detect URLs
StNotepad detects URL's automatically on the fly, we can enable or disable it whenever in need.
Zooming
StNotepad has zooming option for text in the text area. This also supports Multitouch gesture for zooming.
Text Drag and Drop
StNotepad supports dragging and dropping of text instead of Cut and Paste as in Windows Wordpad.
Always on Top
StNotepad supports "Always on Top" to stay this notepad on top of other windows.
Full Screen
Full screen option lets you edit text in full screen mode, without any obtrusive taskbar or window bar in view.
